Had a long weekend Empty Had a long weekend

    Post by CJ,s 67 F100 Mon Aug 29, 2011 2:45 pm

Friday at noon I went to my nephew Pauls house in Iowa Park just west of Witchita Falls Tx.
I had a new air handler/ fan coil unit to put in his house as his old one was leaking refrigerant.
They think a/c is important at 115 like it was there saturday
We got it in Saturday but it took all day as we had lots of people over
John his next door neighbor came over on a Yamaha Zuma 125 and I rode it round the block, round the block in that country is 6 miles
Then he went home and got his new Honda Fury 1312cc looks like a chopper and I had to ride it around the block.
They had the hotter than hell bike race going on so we couldnt leave the house except on a bike
Then they broke out the honey whiskey and we had to sample it of course, then another friend came over with 2 new
desert eagle 44 mags and a case of ammo. Its a real trip to have a fully loaded one in each hand emptying both at the same time at the back stop. Total waste of ammo and can't hit shit
rapid firing them but its a real rush.
My nephew brought his new to him Ruger #1, stainless/ laminated in 7mag out. and we shot it a couple rounds.
Pauls wife fixed ribeyes on the grill with fried squash and seasoned taters for supper and eggs, sausage, hashbrowns gravy and toast for breakfast. Bet I gained 5# up there
Got my oil and filter changed Sunday morning with battery terminals cleaned, topped both off with distilled water, washed and oiled my air filter, checked air pressure in all 5 tires.
Sure was a good weekend with family and friends

How far is IP from you JD? I thought of calling and letting you know but I wasn't sure how far it would have been.

WF is roughly 70 mi--takes about 1.5 hr due to a lot of small towns with low speed limits--not a bad drive, otherwise

Holy crap, fast crotch rocket, good whiskey, firearms and a steak with fixins, you had just about everything a guy could ask for except some female type gratification.
