Picked up a 76 Jeep CJ5 yesterday. All stock, 6 banger 3 speed with the metal half cab. 46,000 miles. Paid a grand and it's going on C-list for 2. I'll get some pics of it in a bit.

If I hadn't scratched every last cent together to buy it, I would keep it. It runs great, I was just out bombing around and doing a little climbing. The six runs sweet and has gobs of torque for that little critter.
It also has a 110 volt generator on it, no belt on it so I can't test it but I might yard that off before I sell it. I could run it with a lawnmower engine.

an old man told me never fall in love with your machinery, cuz ya might have/need to sell it---easier said than done, although it get's real easy when the cupboards are bare and the pocket book is empty

Threw it on C-list last night for 1900 and there is a guy on his way here from Aberdeen to buy it. He'll be here first thing in the morning. I kept the Forney 2500 watt AC alternator that was under the hood. It should be worth another 100 or so to someone
