Anyone moved lately? This is lots of fun and heres the list of my fun so far
1 Look for house to buy, not enough money
2 Look for house to rent, costs more than buying one
3 Look for nice apartment to rent, costs as much as renting a house
4 Look for less nice apartment, still to high
5 Look at dump of an apartment, price is right but living over a week is in question
6 Decide to move my travel trailer up here to a nice RV park, to far from here
7 Decide to move it to a Mobile home park, they are all full
8 Find one I like that will have an vacancy on December 1st
9 Go by and fill out paperwork for a backgroung check, still nowhere to live now
10 Find a opening in a very small RV park, 10 miles away
11 Check TT insurance and its out, go by my insurance office and renew it
12 TT registration is out, go by tax office and register it
13 Register two more trailers i have while I'm there
14 Call TXU and have the electric meter put in my name and turned on
15 Call the cable co. and have it put in my name, dont know if they have wifi yet
16 Got the TT cleaned up and ready to roll the 90 miles over from east Tx last weekend
17 This Sunday morning hook up drive here. Load my stuff up then off to park it until Nov. 1 and then move it again
I miss the days when I could throw everything I own in a short narrow bed pu and move lol
Anyone thats in the area is welcome to drop by and share in this fun

that is a long arm list--sorry i ain't close enough to be of help--i am home alone this weekend, the girls have gone to austin for the austin city limits music fest--3 glorious days of daydreaming and piddling on projects all by my lonesome--well, the cats and dogs are still here--

i remember the old moving gang attacks-our old p-grove softball team was an apartment moving machine--medication, beer and food was the currency Moving this weekend 301330

in retrospect,it would have been cheaper to hire someone drunken

good luck bubba--i would have rode the train down to ft worth and had ya pick me up there, but i gotta hold the fort down this weekend---i have been outside enjoying the rain cheers

Thanks for the thought JD I know you would have helped but someone has to hold the fort down
My wifi is great and fast except when I down load a pdf file for work. No affordable cable but I have a dish network dish and receiver coming with all the channels they offer for $10 a month from my cousin in Winnsboro Tx. My space here has a car port, storage shed, big trees and it quiet. About a 14'x 30' patio out the front door then my car port and my SD fits under it lol. Also the guy that was here before me left a old sailboat mast thats mine now. I'm going to put it on Craigs list and ebay for a $100 then its off to scrap if it does not sell. 45# of pure aluminum.
