I'm not a big fan of horror films but this story is too fooked up not to share. One of my supervisors at the dealer is a big time horror flick fan. One of his favs is The Night of The Living Dead which was not only set in rural Pennsylvania but was actually shot in Evans City which is roughly 45 miles from me. He decided to visit the Evans City Cemetery where the grave yard scenes were filmed. While walking thru he saw a man who looked very familiar. Turns out it was director George Romero who got his start with Night of The Living Dead. Apparently Mr. Romero visits the area once or twice a year to gain inspiration for new projects. Mr. Romero was happy to show my coworker where specific scenes were shot and how they were done. Early in the movie a zombie falls on a guy and kills him by crushing his skull on a tombstone. The name on the stone?................Clay Myers..........same as mine. Now I don't care who you are THAT is fooked up.
