Anyone here listen to Alex Jones?

Post by spartman on Sat Dec 10, 2011 11:03 am

Was introduced to this guy about a month ago and have been listening to what he has been saying.

If even half the stuff he is claiming comes true, we are in for a real baaaad time coming about in Fall of 2012.

Would it be worth it to try and prepare for something like the collapse of America?

I know I have been seriously thinking about buyin some silver, cause I cant afford gold.

Should I prepare some sort of storage area in the basement for say seeds, food, water etc??

    What do you guys think?

there are several like him--some of the info is on target--some isn't---a good food supply is not a bad idea at any stage of the game

my personal opinion regarding gold and silver is "what's the point?"--can u eat, drink or breathe it?

here's a link with a good read on the bug out bag line of thought

fear is the ruling elite's best weapon--i know it sounds weird to think there is a "ruling" group--but there is and it's a world wide thing--it will end--i don't know when or how--i know what i think--and i know that how ever it goes down will be scary for a lot of humans--we all have the answer inside ourselves--be at peace & fear not

We all know this shit has to blow up in our face sometime, maybe soon. But there have always been gloom and doom peddlers. I remember my dad talking about it when I was a kid, thinking we would never make it to the 70s.
And if it does come, well who knows, it doesn't hurt to have a month or so of chow in the pantry, but I always do anyway. They always say gold and silver will be the standard when the dollar takes the big shit. I've got a little silver, not enough to make much difference, maybe 50 ounces. I have been investing more in cheap milsurp rifles and a few boxes of shells for each. I think they are a good investment and may become hard to obtain.
I don't really buy into the bunker and hoarding mentality though, and I doubt if we will be able to shoot our way out of the mess. Besides, the Mayan's said it will be all over Dec. 2012.

    guns are good--ammo too

the whole idea of "surviving" whatever it is that happens is really comical-- made me do some rather heavy thinking about this whole life thing

entire civilizations have up and pissadeared--carbon dating is extrapolated theory--a single volcanic eruption can bury stuff so quickly it appears to be way older than it is due to how deeply it is buried.

before social security, what really happened to the old geezers and geezerettes?--i think they went to shit and the hogs ate'em--or the coyotes and buzzards. the scene from jeremiah johnson where he finds the old guy frozen and get's the sharps is probably as real as real can be

this is just idle ramblin's of a wore out geezer--no answers here--i guess doing what makes ya feel right about things is what to do
