Re: time flies
So far so good here.
Just waiting for the ground to firm up, and get some dirt tilled.
Also picked up a part time job 2 nights a week at a grocery store, stocking shelves.

Re: time flies
Weather is chilly but otherwise okay here. I'm kinda gettin my shit back together. I let some stuff slide for the last several months because I get sort of depressed. Nothing serious but it puts me in a fucitol mood. Kiddo is bouncing around because I'm gonna turn her loose in mall tomorrow. She's going clothes shopping. Me, I'm headed for a gun show that's in another building next to the mall.
Hey Spart congrats on the part time gig. Them extra coins ought to come in handy.

Re: time flies
We're busier than hell here. Dad's finally no longer able to do his feeding and chores. The Dr says his top vertabrea is about half gone..crumbling... so that hurts like hell and he just can't make it. Guess that's what 89 years of abuse gets ya.... so Kate and I are taking up the slack, as well as all our own stuff. Pulled the jaw plates out of the crusher today, and will flip them over and do some hardfacing on them while I have them out...hopefully they go back in Monday or so. The outfit that did the machine work on our snapped roll crusher shafts last fall, decided to use heat to get the bearings off...LOTS of heat..so every bearing has blue rollers ...there went a couple grand... Hopefully we'll be slapping that back together soon...it's getting pretty close to time to get to work in the pit!
Pulled the wedding carriage apart to do some paint... the whole frame was cracked and broken... so I'm basically building a new carriage. Same upholstery, wheels and axels, but everything else will be new...gotta get than done by May, for a show.
Still got the airplane project going... you can check it out on photobucket...title is N4221C.
Other than that, just sitting around and enjoying the sunshine! haha Sure wouldn't want to be bored!

Re: time flies
After 3 weeks of doing nothing, it feels good to be getting back in the swing. Lots of stuff to fix and customers stuff coming in. Yesterday we drove about 250 miles to get the 58 and 60 F-100s. 13 hour day and about all I needed. Also getting back into the gardening mode. Downsizing some this year and putting up a couple old dog kennels to keep the deer out of things.

Re: time flies
Hoping to get my old big mow rider going again, waiting for the lawn mower shop to pull the exhaust bolt on the head for it.
Also need to have some of the side shields welded back onto the deck.
If this guy cant get it out, Ill have to see if he can get JB's engine running.

Sorry to hear about your dads back. Mine was aching until I read that but its fine now. Just chasing getting this truck back right and work. The GF gave me some shit last night and I came home. She had hers together again this morning. Funny how that works. Got a new Ryobi cordless weed eater and blower for $119.00 on sale at home depot. I'm down to about 150sf of mowing so I just weed eat the damn thing. Dodged all the tornados last night so lifes good here

Re: time flies
I had one about 4-5 miles west of me. Between my home and work. Then another 5-6 miles east of me at work.
We had lots of rain, wind and dime size hail at work but no problems. I sure was worried about my truck. I figured State Farm would not be happy if I turned in another claim this fast.
