    Anybody know?

Post by spartman on Mon May 28, 2012 10:42 pm

Working on the new to me AC lawn mower and have had to put some extra work into the carb.

The PO left it outside and the gas cap leaked so the carb go a good shot of water in it.

Got the rust cleaned up and am in the process of rebuilding it.

Got a kit and followed the info from the mower guy about drilling out the main "jet" since it was stuck/rusted in.

Finally got the jet out but scuffed some of the treads up in the carb.

Anyone know what the threads are in there? Need to get em chased out and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dont think epoxy would hold up to gas though.

Besides I called a mower shop and they have a tap that will fit.
