Do you have any ideas on what a 1975 Dodge Big Horn is worth in this day and age that is road worthy? Supposed to have a Cummins 290 in it and is supposed to be a 13 speed. I read they only made a couple hundred of them from 73-75 so i figured it would be way out of my price range but I can dream for a toy hauler can't I?

OHyeah! That'll be one pricey truck...but worth it! I'm not sure just exactly what you'd have to expect to give, but it's going to be a bunch. It seems to me that the last time I heard of one selling, it was in the 30 to 50 range. Kyle and Tony Youngblood are the ones to know all about them... http://www.overdriveretro.com/beauty-and-the-bighorn/ I've talked to Kyle..he's a really nice guy.
So what's the story on this one?

Some old guy had it in the back of the barn for forever along with 47 Diamond T's and a Chrysler Airflow refuel truck (1 of 7 known). I had no idea if there was a collector market for them are if they fell in the too old to use a lot but too new for a collector...... sale is october 20th in stockton Kansas, vanderbrinkauctions.com

Re: Hey John
I remember seeing a picture with a row of those Airflow Texaco trucks that you couldn't see the end of, always wondered why I never saw one pop up. It'll bring big bucks. How is the bighorn different from other 900 seies trucks? I love those swing open fenders. I cut my teeth on a 1971 9000 twin screw dump truck. 534 with a 5 and a 4, gutless pig it was.
My first cross country gig was in a cabover Pete with a 290 and a 13 speed, very memorable but not in a good way, most diesel pickups today would out pull it.
