Fortunately no fires near to me, but I know they have some out west.

I kinda wonder if they let them burn out west river if that wouldnt go a long way to get rid of those pine beetles that have been killing all the trees?

Dont go blowing your hand off with some of those hillbilly fire crackers now JD!!

I'm about tired of fires and smoke down here in Denver. Rumor has it we landed the job of doing aerial seeding and mulching for the high park fire (the one that was by fort collins 87,000 acres). One started today up in an area Allen and I would go to has grown to 7,000 A so far today.

I'm gonna hide in the carriage shop for the 4th!

Dry dry dry here. No moisture all winter and not near enough rain. 95-1105 for a couple weeks with wind and the air is full of smoke from all the fires. Burning ban so no fireworks except the ones the fire dept did at the rodeo last night. One friend and her husband have a pretty good sized fireworks stand and their sales were off 95% so they just closed it up, a real kick in the pants to a couple of working folk.

They were dumping water with a C-130 here in the hills and augered it in. Killed 3 of the 4 airmen.
