Our wheat harvest this year was a whopping.....2-5 BU/A. With a combination of rain and two storms in two days that produced gold ball sized hail not much left. My dad said the two strips closest to the house didn't even get a bin full of wheat on the combine. Talked to my brother and he said everyones wheat was real shitty this year...

Is it just me or is this years wheat crop really short as well?

Seems like round here none of the wheat is much higher that a couple of feet.

I wish ours was a couple of feet tall! Everything around here is about six inches to a foot....maybe two where the wetspots are.

Lance--r u the gunner on the hydro mulcher??? i spent a summer on one of those gigs in kansas--my buddy-now deceased, always said "you know it's hot when the sweat is running down your asscrack like the water in a river--we were in hutchinson ks during the state fair--set heat records the whole 2 weeks we spent there and rained to boot--the hotel's roof leaked and soaked all our clothes--we kinda had fun with the pizza our last nite--funny thing and puzzeled the boss when they didn't want us back a couple of weeks later--imagine that--don't fuk with a pigfuker or his stuff Wheat harvest report 301330

That's what I said....we have a 1966 MF 410 that we bought from the original owner that has a 4 cylinder perkins in it, it sips fuel! insurance guy wanted us to cut it all.

I do run the cannon! We have about 9 different tips and a couple are set up to run two cannons at the same time. We have one that is mounted on a AWD Autocar, one on an oshkosh and the rest are mounted on KW's. I will have to grab a pic of the Volvo sometime next week as it is currently in the yard. I also do a lot of the mixing whether it is hydromulch, flexterra, or tack. Starting a fire job next week I will see if I can get some video of the heli's on my new fancy work phone.

seed mixing is very scientific--hardee har--1 bag + 1/2 bag + 1/4 bag---we had state guys that stood there and oversaw the mixture--what a farce
