    Lost one Empty Lost one

My good friend Tango lost the battle last night. One of those friendships that came and went on the internet, never had a face to face with him, or even knew his real name. Weird.
He started this little board, much like our small group here.

sad to learn of his passing--the internet has it's shortcomings, but it has more positives(imo)--i wonder how many thousands of little boards there are?? after katrina, i met a couple that had met on the net, she from the midwest and he from fla---they married and were quite happy- i enjoyed meals and drinks with them, he made and sold specialty cheeses--mostly smoked varieties -- very tasty

this life is so temporary--the cool thing is that even if we never physically shake hands on the planet, we will sometime, somewhere

pass along my well wishes please, JB

    Godspeed Mr Tango

I guess it's like a modern day version of pen pals. Odd thing is I was pretty good friends with him for the last 4-5 years and never knew his name or that he was fighting cancer.

i no longer consider a passing as a loss--the one to pass has gained a better spot--they were part of our life for a time and for a reason--some people don't share their trials and tribulations--he was probably a veteran--those guys keep it close--wars and what they do to humans suck

I agree, we don't grieve for their passing, we grieve for our own loss.

It never ceases to amaze me the people I've connected with on the net.... including my wife. Even with all the BS it brings, it's surely enriched my life.
We do mourn for our own loss... the empty hole. Just gotta be glad they got to be IN our lives.

    Death sucks.

It sucks more when you know the person who has died.

To me death seems like such a waste. Why go through all the process of life, only to die?

    Maybe its just me.
