    Radiator lookout!

Post by 71ford100 on Fri Apr 05, 2013 4:46 pm

I've spent a while looking for a radiator for my 70 F-100 4x4 and haven't had much luck. One of the junkyards has a f100 sitting on the opposite side of the fence and they have no idea when it will be put in the yard. So if any of you come across a f-100 4x4 with a radiator that the holes are 25 3/4 wide by 10 3/4 apart (up and down) please let me know. I would also be interested in a radiator core as my only good ones are off a 2wd. I think a dent radiator may be close on the 100 2wd's.

What was ford trying to accomplish by using the rad and shroud as a f100 4x4 only specific part?

I think dents have the mounting flange on the wrong side. Dim memory, could be wrong.

Lance--r u doing a restoration?? if so then disregard this, go aftermarket or find a close fit out of the junkyard--i am no longer afraid of the aluminum 2 row with plastic tanks--the one that came on the 88 1 ton has never offered any problem--ka-fucking-nock on wood --and go with an electric fan--sold on those too!!

i will keep my eye out

also advise to do the dent core support el-swapo

    good luck
