    some very cool stuff--saw the 1st hour last nite


    didn't see anyone i knew lol! (maybe in the 2nd hr,eh??)


    some amazing furniture fetching amazing prices(molesworth)

    learned about the ranch a--quite a story

    and a 1944 martin d 28 get fiddle that was hardly worth the effort to drag out(NOT)don't remember the price--it was shocking--specially after all the downgrades the guy gave it

    It'll run again. Also there are 2 more episodes from RC. Pretty sure my old coffee buddy Fred is going to be on. They filmed him anyway, with a real old survey instrument.
    I read about Molesworth many years ago when I was first getting my log furniture business going. I used to find those burls but thought they were ugly, still do. I used the big ones to slice up for table tops, still have a couple slabs I brought from Alaska. I left 400-500 signed pieces around the Mat-Su valley and Anchorage. Maybe I'll be famous someday when I'm dead.
    Too bad that Molesworth didn't have the original oxblood leather.

    i agree about the burls--to me the beauty is within


    what did Fred have to show??

    the roadshow is one of my all time fav tv shows--lots of knowledge passed along and lots of truly wonderful stuff to see

    that's too bad--the brand books were interesting, i'll bet u have run into the guy as he said they all came from auctions, mostly boxes in lots---there were some other interesting items--a very good showing of history from the world that has found itself in the black hills or near by
