    Latest back country finds

Post by 71ford100 on Tue Sep 03, 2013 7:43 pm

All of the cars were at one place. There is a mid 30's ford PU that I didn't get a good picture of. The lady told me they scrapped a bunch more this past winter! I think they can be bought but I would have to work on her some. The combines are her BIL's and she thought he would sell them so I'm going to have to find out. I also stopped at another place today that had three late 40's early 50's Chev pickups but he was pretty sentimental about them. I also tried to stop at another place but no one was home. I also am trying to get the D bought and another earlier unstyled and a set of steel wheels for a D. This salesman gig sure has its benefits.

I want the 48 Buick with a KB grill.
Nice score there. The 55 and the 36-37 Coupe body are interesting. I'd like to see more of the mid 30s Ford pickup, and that T cab would be a keeper if there were doors.

I'm not sure of the status on all of the cars. I actually saw the combine and asked the lady if I could look and then saw the cars but she was headed to town. Rattlesnakes are thick right where this stuff is, the wind was blowing about 30 mph and all the oldies were sitting in waist high grass in a draw so I didn't get close. I'm going to go back as I think her BIL owns most of it (he did the combine anyways). The T has one door laying in the dirt, hood and side panels are in another place, found the ford script bed today. If I swing a deal on the place with the T I will keep all of the parts. What year is the cab?
