nice coverage on the tube-----lots of history shown--the movie about the snake & mongoose should be a keeper--i remember those days, mostly from hot rod magazine--that was about as close as you could get in nw ks--there were some really tight runs--and some big blow ups--100,000 doesn't go far, or maybe it does---1/8 mi and 100 ft in the air as smithereens   ---- beckman won the shootout and 100,000 -- just as he crossed the line the body disintergrated
