man, electrical stuff can be a mystery--thank goodness a lot of cats have put repair stuff on the u tube--bought all 3 parts this time--timer switch, heater element and thermostat. last time only the thermostat--lasted about 3 months. i never did get the thermostat(new) to show the reading they say it will. my meter is good, dbl checked with my other 2 meters. the new heater element didn't read within the range called for and never mind the new switch as it's totally different than the original

but the thing is working going on the 4th day--kanock on the old wood block(me noggin)  fridge repair 301330

Well, there's your problem, trying to put a heating element in a fridge. Should take a freezing element.

Rick does pretty good work, got some talent and some pride--he is raising some boneheads, but they seem to be catching on  lol!

it might be worth a call to see what his pulse is on them, i would love to have one, but logistics and ready cash are snags.

needs versus wants and all that jazz  scratch

I hear that! Wish I had a lot of the stuff we threw in the dump years ago.... old hit and miss engines, cream separators, 'fridge's.... tons of the "Shedd's" peanut butter cans... barn lunch pails... sure seemed like junk then, but worth something now..... that says a lot about the state of things, I guess.
