Damn...you guys aren't really set up for that down there, are ya? That's pretty much a "three dog night"!
Started to snow this morning...early.... like about 4. Tonight at supper, there was about 4 inches... and when we were over in the shop it dumped a couple more.... and it's wet snow...so now we have about 6" of snow with ice lurking under it... really treacherous!!

So far a lot of cold blasts here, with a couple inches of fly-away snow.

Dont know how many blizzard and winter storm warnings we have had this year for that stuff.

Be very glad when this winter is over

i remember some childhood winters, early 60's, when living near Talequah(sp) OK that beat this one for cold and duration. this old house was built in the 30's or earlier--we are doing ok, although the elec. bill will probably be a whopper

I'm not complaining about winter but every year I think more strongly about a different place to live them out. More this year.

Its the hundred year weather thing. Check your history. 1911 Niagra Falls froze solid. 2012 nearly froze solid.

....now it wont STOP snowing! hahhaa Oh well, I'll take the moisture, no matter how it comes to us! Those folks in Northern California would be doing cartwheels for some moisture!

Around here, any snow we get after the ground is froze doesn't do much good. Most of it evaporates as it thaws unless it gets hella warm fast and causes some run off for the dams.

seems cj has it nailed. our last snow is still pretty much here and the temps are staying below freezing. got some fresh falling now.

the dogs have been ravenous and the cats are keeping up. they are all indoors most of the day. mother earth is making some changes--adapt and thrive

    be safe and be well

     cheers
