    The road trip

Post by willowbilly3 on Mon Mar 17, 2014 2:48 am

Well, Sarah and I got home Friday evening, then she was off at 7 Sat morning for home in Tejas. Seattle was fun, Pt. Townsend more fun, time went fast. She has decided she's moving up there as soon as she graduates. Which is fine with me, I'd much rather visit her there than in east Texas. A little sad for dad as she won't come here to spend summer and school vacations anymore. 18 years ago when she was born I figured I would have to hang in there until she was 18 and out of high school. I figgered 61 would be a bit of a stretch but hoped I made it. Now I've hit the end of my vision, can't see into the future any more, don't know wtf to do with myself.

He was doing good. Pretty sore and hadn't been out much but we walked Pike Street for 3-4 hours and he seemed to get along fine, albeit a little slow. He took us to a Vietnamese restaurant for Phu which I had never hear of. Lots of various Asians in that area.

WB, I've gone thru the same thing. I prayed I'd hang on long enough to see my daughter graduate high school. Well she's in her 2nd year of college and she still thinks Dad is okay. We still do simple stuff together just like when she was little. Yes we've grown apart some but that's kinda normal.
