as far as i can tell the processor is still running--just can't see anything--tried all the tricks i knew and gave up

got on mama's laptop today--which is another frustrating thing--we are at loggerheads when it comes to computing

found several sites (forums) with possible fixes--puter is currently at Julie's computer guys place--been shopping online--that's a buncha fun--nothing worth having is less than 500--i think i would rather have 500 worth of ammo or a used pistole

if my back was good to go i don't think i would miss the computer so much, but as things are it is more or less my entertainment outlet

    I see.

I found a couple of Toshiba's at best buy that weren't to shabby for about 350 or so.

    Might be something to consider

here is what the ceo bought--got pretty much state of the art--except webcam(built in)---u can spec the same machine from hp's site--2 wk build time and by the time u get thru upgrading it, u would be farther ahead to pay the 5 bills and tax at wally world or the 17.3 acer

after the 30 rebate it will be scaring the hell outta 4 bills

and i got a job today--typing forms for Julie--so now, in addition to being "admin", i am now an administrative assistant to a licensed professional counselor--or maybe just an "intern"

well--gotta go--time to get back under the desk computer failure Icon_rolleyes
