Haha, if it was my ex, I wouldn't have to grease the high speed bearings on the asswipe roller until she got back.spartman wrote:Bet your toilet paper last a long long long time too. LOL
Just think of all the fun, you could bring that old Stihl in and rebuild it on the kitchen table for starters.

Yah...sort of brings back memories of the "good ol' days"....but I sure do miss having her around. I spent 43 years looking for that one.....
Me and Griz are hanging in there... he's loving it as he gets to ride in the tractor when I feed if Kate's not here. It does get me back in the shop for a few more hours every day.... got most of the 3 phase converter installed yesterday.... headed to town (in the snow) for some parts to finish it this morning, then try to get my big lathe cranked up!

Re: Bachelor Pad
Hey John, I have a big 3 phase welder I would sell for cheap. It's a 400 amp Lincoln. I was about ready to strip it out for the copper because none of the shops with 3 phase around here needs another one.

Re: Bachelor Pad
I'll get the info off it and a couple pics tomorrow. All I can remember is it's a 400 amp Lincoln. Not one of those generator type, more of a huge buzz box. I've welded on them out at the plant and they are good machines. This one came from a Bentonite plant here in town that they shut down and scrapped out. I talked to 2 different guys who welded with it right before it came out.
