Don't sound that bad to me... they'll last a long time if the oil is changed regularly and they aren't run hot. I've got one taking up room in the shop...just stumbled over it today..one of these days I gotta pull the old chev dually in and swap it out. If you find one that had the turbo kit put on, don't walk away...RUN! That ended the crank shaft about 90% of the time. If you can find a 6.5, that's a lot snappier engine and will bolt right in....but usually is a bit more spendy as well...
