It sucks to get old......

Had a horse fall with me today..could've been a bad one... I wound up on the downhill side of her when she fell (really steep!!) She lost her footing when a cow charged her and she went backwards and rolling down hill into the barbed wire fence, with me between... ohyeah, and me also between the tree that the barbed wire was attached to and her (found out that my head's still a little harder than a lodgepole, but my ear's not).... she did everything she could to keep from rolling on me, but I took a pretty good wack to the head and left leg/hip... it looked worse than it was. The mare has a bunch of cuts, but nothing that deep. All in all, we were lucky. I guess it scared Kate a bit... we kinda looked rough by the time we got back down to her....... I was bleeding from my ear, and the mare had blood all over her butt....haha... she mumbled something about grey hair..... All I know is that I'm gonna feel this in the morning! It sucks not to be 20 anymore! (pass the arnica and Aleve!!)

I know Im one of the younger bucks here, but I can already tell, Im not as limber as I used to be.

When Im working the "other" job stocking shelves Im one of the slower ones and one that uses more ibuprofen than anyone else.

Damn I miss my 20's

dang it son--them horse wrecks can be way worser then a car wreck----glad ya didn't git any more injuries than ya (think) ya got.
