Steam threshing B

Coming up in Sturgis, August 19-21. My picking buddy and I are setting up at the swap area. I have an ass load of old tools and crap to take, also the 1923 Hart-Parr washing machine.

i spied a jd 111 rider today---no seat & they been mowing around it---oughta be worth 25 or 50 bux--probably be one of those family heirloom thing and ain't even for sale

111 is a good little mower. I had the one I stuffed an 18 horse briggs twin into and it mowed great. They are underpowered with the 11 horse. I sold that one for $450. The only real problem was it was light, the front end just skated if you tried to turn short and it spun out on sidehills a lot, had to use body english to sidehill it.
I just scored a Ford 145 for $325. It is a 14 horse Kohler with hydrostatic drive and hydraulic lift, has a snowblower and tiller. I got it running but it needs a new carb.
The JD 212 I fixed up should be gone next week, $1700

Made by Jacobsen, 14 horse Kohler, probably a Sundstrand hydrostat so not much different than many other GTs from that era. Kinda pudgy.
