Holy crap!! it shot right past $25 to $26.18 yesterday. I got about 10 ounces bought last week for under 22 and could have bought more but the ex put the squeeze on me for Sarah's dentist visit next week.

Re: $ilver
26.73 today, up another 55 cents. I'm bidding on some more on ebay, got a little secret. There are some tokens with .6 ounce of silver that the silver buyers don't seem on top of.

Re: $ilver
Question,
When your buying silver are you buying actual silver or just shares/stock of silver?

Re: $ilver
I have all my silver here. You don't want to buy silver that is somewhere else.

Re: $ilver
Well, there is a way to buy it that you don't actually take possession, you just have a certificate that says you own it. I think there is also broker fees ect. when you do it that way. Personally, I like the rounds, like coins. Most of them are one troy ounce but the ones I've been buying have .6 of an ounce. But there really isn't a standard on these. I had read that they were between .5 and .6 so I took one apart and weighed it, they are a 2 part coin and the center is the silver. It weighed .600 on the nose. Many people are selling them for 1/2 ounce. There is also a series that have the outer ring silver and they have .75 ounce. Right now I have a bid in on 15 coins that they have advertised as .5 ounce each or 7.5 total. Actually 12 are the .6 ounce coins and three are the .75 ones. So there is really almost 9 and a half ounces there.spartman wrote:I see.
