Not so merry christmas

Sorry I havent been on lately.


My mom was admited to the hospital sunday morning and they found that she has a perforated small intestine where it connects to her stomach.

they fixed that and she was healing up and then on monday afternoon she took a turn for the worse.

Her heart rate shot up and her pressure went way down, they had her hooked up to a crash cart but fortunately didnt need it.

Seems that her lungs look like cracked glass in the xray.

They wound up putting her on a ventilator and she is doing better they say.

I guess its a waiting game now.

So Ill be a little hard to reach for the next few days.

Touchy stuff there. I know of 2 different people who almost died in the last couple years from leaking intestines, and after surgery. Hope she gets better soon.

Sorry to hear about your Mom, Spart. Hang in there and know we're all sending the best her way!

do have an update on my mom.

They got her off the ventilator this morning, and she is breathing on her own.

In a LOT of pain, still groggy but seems to be making progress.

Im not sure Ill be able to walk right anymore though, from kneeling and crossing my fingers, LOL.

Ill keep you posted a little better, now that I have a laptop here at the hospital

Thoughts and prayers Spart.

Okay guys got some updates.

They moved mom to a private room on Monday.

She is doing better and they are going to discharge her to the rehab place on friday.

She is going to have some problems due to drug abuse, but she is one tough ole momma and we will help.

She can finally eat food and keep it down. Apparently when they did the stomach stapling 10 years ago the way they reattached the intestine to the stomach wasn't right. They looped it instead of making a y.

She did have some blood in her stool, but that is just left overs from the surgery and the blood transfusions.

Us kids did have to have a big ass powow with the doctors to finally get a straight story from em.

Stupid fucking woman doctor from India was misreading and over exaggerating shit.

wont have to deal with her anymore, she is on vacation now, and will be replaced once mom goes to the rehab place.

The rehab is for her muscles etc and not for the pills.
