man--it all depends on where ya live--some say west texas starts at ft worth--texas coulda been about 7 or 8 different states--north tx, east tx, west tx, hill country, piney woods, coastal bend, big bend, panhandle--and then there is pleasant grove--it's a whole nuther world--that's where i landed when i immigrated
