that's a tough one-- i really don't know any words that don't seem hokey--personally, i don't deal very well with death situations, one of my many failings

i read an article yesterday, according to it, the body may succumb, but the soul or spirit is eternal, so death is only a transformation, therefore one will always have the company of friends and relatives, no matter what

I guess we have all had to do this for family and friends at one time or another
It seems like I have had to do it too many times
For me, I was uncomfortable going to see them but glad I did after I left
It always puts my life into the proper perspective again
Good luck with your visit and our prayers for your friend

    Just talk.

Dont talk about the disease unless he brings it up.

Just act like nothings different than normal.

Thats what I would want if it were me.

John, I guess ask yourself how you would want him to act if the roles were reversed. I've got good friends that we tease each other constantly. If I was bad sick and one of them showed up I would be disappointed if they didn't get in a jab or two.

John, I'm with Spart on this. Act normal. Talk trucks or hunting or whatever you might do under normal circumstances. If he wants to talk about it let him bring it up.

jb---yep---that's how it'll be for me--anyone that comes to see me on my deathbed better be bearing gifts--moonshine--weed or peyote---and no crying--just joy and happiness, because it really should be seen as a release and escape from human frailties

in my heart and gut, this cancer stuff is caused by all the shit they been spraying in the air(chemtrails) and putting in the water and food supplies--the causes and cures are known, but not publicized -- lately, as i read news & visit forums, there is an abundance of death happening--and so many are way too young--30's thru 50's--heart and stress related and cancers-- i don't think the future is good for longevity

peace and blessings on us all

Royal Rife had a cure for cancer back in the 20s and the government/medical community destroyed him. They threw him in jail and he died there mysteriously, 2 weeks before he was to get out. Cancer treatment is a huge industry and they don't want it cured.

Well...didn't make it in time. He wanted to wait for a "good day".... services are tomorrow. Everything for a reason, so I guess I'm good with it....just remember the good.
    Thanks everyone.

Yup, that's all you can do. Every friendship has one person who has to see the other one die. The memorys are what's left at the end. He was fortunate to have had you for a friend.
