Today we were going through all the sympathy cards. One in particular brought a laugh to us all. An elderly woman, about mom's age and a longtime friend wrote a touching message and remembered, among other acts of kindness, all the ho-made bread. Well, mom did make some awesome bread but never got called a ho for it.

Re: A good laugh
here is also a good laugher---going thru some remote nooks and crannies of my memory banks--fried synapses and all--out popped the old rhyme from grade school--now this one could get you into a scuffle--we used it on whoever was at bat--it goes like this--i'll use me in the name spot
old james dunn was a merry old soul with a buckskin belly and a jelly (or rubber) asshole
usually at this point you are either running ,laughing all the way--or locked in a schoolyard embrace
