I think what happened to it is volume
Back then a farmer grew 40-80-120 acres of a crop
Now its 1000, 2000, 10,000 acres and @ 5' wide at that slow ground speed just wont't cut it anymore

i was passed some written history on family--my grandmother's father--whom passed prior to my birth--worked for IHC as a setup guy for the horse drawn "binders" in the late teens and 20's--they rode him around the country on trains--paid for everything--apparently is was a really good job, until a machine he was assembling fell on and smashed his hand--he assembled them, then taught the owner how to operate--including team driving--and repairs

Ive got some 8mm film of my uncles combining wheat with some moline self propelled units.

Gotta get a different projector.
Got the converter box, which btw is a mirror. But the projector I have doesnt do macro so, Ill have to go to evil bay or something and find one with a macro lens.
