Just wondering where people find some of the following stuff at.

Been trying to google it and havent really found anything useful.

Here is what Ive been looking for:

Isuzu diesel 3.9l engines, where to buy, how much etc.

    Used school buses for sale.

where to buy old bread vans, frito trucks, ups trucks etc.

where to buy some of the cummins diesel engines.

Maybe Im just not looking in the right spots, or Im an idiot. Where can I find this stuff? 301330

    Thanks guys

I think most school districts sell their old buses, pretty low key with minimal advertising. I did see some 4BT bread vans for sale in something called the Blue Pages or something like that, a classified advertiser. Maybe get the big advertiser paper like Construction Bargaineer. There is another one that is all trucks but I can't remember the name of it.

Spart you might try here. They have a search feature to find them close to you.

    http://www.commercialtrucktrader.com/

Also add the word commercial to your search. Another way is to look for auction outfits that deal in commercial vehicles. A geat many municipal vehicles such as school buses are sold this way. I don't know about other states but in PA school buses are required by law to be retired after 10 years. Since there are only so many churches looking for a used bus and only so many school bus demo derbies a lot of them get scrapped. Most crushers will handle a bus if it's cut in 2 mid way along it's length.

When I was working for that ministry in Texas we gave away 3 GMC diesel busses, all ran good. Also they had 2-3 of those flat nosed Bluebirds with 5.9 cummins that were used up and I think they sold those off cheap after I left. The Bluebirds have horrid electrical systems, heaters and a/c are inadequate when new and not worth a crap when they are 10 years old.

Jump on www.cumminsforum.com and head to the classifieds. You'll want to keep it older than 98 1/2 for the 5.9, after that, they went to the 24 valve.

    Been trying both.

For some reason I just aint having good luck finding stuff other that either spam crap or some overpriced places that paid to have their rankings high.
