Was heading to work this morning and made it about 10 miles and all of a sudden the car started to miss and lose power.

Looked in the rear view mirror and have a lovely white cloud roaring out the back.

Looks like the cougar blew a head gasket.

    FUUUUCCCCKKKKK

I at least got it home, so now I either gonna have to get the 80 pickup going again or buy another pavement greaser.

Id love to get the 67 going but its not ready for the road just yet.

Gotta replace the front suspension rubbers and get the brake lines changed out and a couple new tires on it.

And to top it all off, I just put 40 bux of gas in it last night.

Any suggestions on what to do?

    Rebuild 3.8
Put 4.2 from newer f-150 (same engine, just factory stroker)
Put 350 from pickup in it
Put something different in there, ie 4.3 chevy, 4.0 ford, small diesel, etc

Not sure if ford offers a crate 3.8.

The long block would be about 1000-1500 bux Im sure.
