    what's the scoop on these differentials???

    i have zero experience with them.

    Me neither, they never break, tough as heel IMO. Pretty much the same as a straight axle on the outside ends.

    Never had one apart beyond replacing axle u-joints. Other than an occasional spindle or axle shaft there doesn't seem to be a big demand for them. Boneyard crushes them all time.

    oh well--had a lead on a 82 4wd with 4sp and 302---missed out--he wanted 700 and sold it for 300--drat

    For that kind of money you might as well have efi and a 5 speed. Those old trucks aren't worth much anymore.

    Those front axles arent bad as long as you fix them when they need it.

    The big things that have to be fixed asap when found to be bad are the bushings etc.

    If you dont they egg out and really screw up your alignment and eat tires.
