Been wanting one of these rifles

It's a straight pull action. The Swedes infantry rifle until about mid 50s. It seems like the Swedes just did everything better plus they were never in a war and didn't have to mass produce guns. The ones I've handled are a fine piece of machinery, as is my Carl Gustav Mauser in 6.5x55 that was also Swedish. Now if I can just find one that's been sporterized a bit. (collectors hate that and they are a lot cheaper usually)

I'm gonna write down the info and stash it in my wallet. I've been hitting the gun shows pretty hard this year and I've seen lots of nice old stuff both military and civilian. If I find something I'll get you contact info.

Cool!! I can't afford to pay attention right now but hope to get another gun or two this faal. I decided a few years back I would buy at least one gun a year.

I've been on a mission this year. With a combination of luck and robbing Peter to pay Paul I got 2 guns I've really wanted and 3 others that were nice deals. I have to behave for awhile so I can get a little cash stashed before snow flies.

The GEW milsurp ammo is readily available, reloadable brass. It's close to a buck a pop.
