It's a straight pull action. The Swedes infantry rifle until about mid 50s. It seems like the Swedes just did everything better plus they were never in a war and didn't have to mass produce guns. The ones I've handled are a fine piece of machinery, as is my Carl Gustav Mauser in 6.5x55 that was also Swedish. Now if I can just find one that's been sporterized a bit. (collectors hate that and they are a lot cheaper usually)
