I looked at these trucks a few years ago and he was too high, plus I had to take all three. Well, I got the 37 and a 41 (not pictured) bought for a grand and I can have the wrecker for another grand. They all ran good when they were parked but who knows now? The home made tractor is from a 20s Chevy and I plan to try and buy it too. Plus he has part of a model A and a 49 Ford coupe so we'll see if I can bundle. I figure the 37 might fetch $2500 if the engine isn't stuck. It has a factory Ford script bed.

Re: Pickin updates
i have a thing for those "stubby" trucks--aka the wrecker--the place my parents worked for had one---it was my first driving gig---really just steering, but i had the seat and the cab all to myself out in the hay field--2nd grade

Nice '37! That would sure look good with an old corn sheller mounted on it.

Re: Pickin updates
Big bust pickin yesterday. We drove 100 miles out to look at some cars on sketchy information, total junk. So we stopped by another guys place we've been to before and thought we could bring something home but he was too busy to take us over. Then on the way home I called the old guy with those trucks and we drove out to look at them. Ended up bringing home a 31 model A shell. The wrecker is just way too rough, probably pass on it.

Yeppers!!!
BTW that 5 oz of silver you bought it for, was that in bars?
If so where did you get your bars at?
Looking to invest in some silver but so far it seems like getting bars is gonna be an online thing.
Maybe Im not looking in the right places?

Re: Pickin updates
Mine is all one ounce rounds. I have a couple coin shops that I get them from. They usually charge a buck over spot.
Once in a while they have one ounce bars, I just like the rounds.
