Old truck cab?? Empty Old truck cab??

    Post by 71ford100 Sat Feb 20, 2010 9:13 pm

Of course I didn't grab any pictures but last weekend I bought a junkpile that I hadn't looked at in two years and on one edge is an all aluminum cab off of a big truck I think. The windows bow outwards to a peak and the guages are towards the middle of the cab. Does anyone have a clue what it could be without pictures?

Also in the pile are a bunch of steel wheels, mostly complete Case LA, IH K series cab and grill, box for my Dodge pickup, horse drawn Manure spreader, old sheetmetal for cars/trucks plus just old scrap.

Possibly a Freightliner. Freightliner likes to mount most of the gauges to the right of the driver. The windshield structure on an aluminum cab could also be Peterbilt, Kenworth, Marmon, International 4200 - 4300 Transtar, International 5000 Paystar, GMC General or an AT Autocar. I prolly missed a few.

I'll grab a picture next time I'm there but they got a foot and half of snow yesterday!
