Red bean recipes

I was getting bored with my usual wonderfull red beans so I came up with a new one
My better half suggested a little cumin and chili powder but I put it in the pot lol
Red beans in the crock pot
1/2 onion diced up
2 stalks of celery cut up small
2 carrots cut up small
2 jalapeno's cut up small
Dash of Lowry's
lots of garlic
dash of cumin
dash of chili powder
Cooked on high for 4 hours then all night on low
I like the juice about half thick
Now lets have your recipe

I just made these the other night but I added a small can of diced tomato's. I copied some beans I had the other night. I have been soaking the beans all night in advance, sure cuts down on the methane, lol

that sounds good--the long soak and a couple of rinses does work wonders
