    dang little baby copperheads

i killed one and the cat brought me 2 last nite

i am a little skittish today---me and snakes are not compatible -- and if there's a question of territory--they win--unless i have a weedeater, shotgun or lawnmower handy--or my snake stick

No shit! I don't do snakes! You just keep 'em down there! We have some rattle snakes about 20 miles away from here, but other than that, just the little garter snakes and water snakes...they're bad enough.

I can deal with black snakes. They can bite the fuk out of you if you piss them off but unless they hit a major artery they won't kill you. Poisonous snakes I don't care for.

it was a nice chilly day yesterday--got a lot of cleanup done--was rockin' along real sweet until i decided to attack an old sofa with an axe--that sofa was really well built--i guess i pulled a long forgotten muscle--be that as it may, i destroyed 1/4 acre of snake habitat, only killed one more--got the grandson checked out on the leaf blower, showed him the proper way to construct and light a camp or cooking fire, showed him the correct use of a hatchet and topped it all with a lesson in grilling hot dogs--done without being blackened
