high winds, heat and blizzards

we had 85 here with south winds upwards of 30 mph yesterday--today the north wind is at it pretty good---denver had 60 degrees yesterday morning followed by a blizz that shut down i 70 from vail to the foothills

48 here now

i'll bet a sailboat would have flown yesterday


i was looking at the osprey cam in glacier nat'l park yesterday--the nest is still covered in snow and ice, it is melted off today

GNP is only about 50 miles from me. We woke up to about 2" of new snow yesterday, then it got nasty.....haha The snow level is down to 3000' right now (we're at 4000 here at the house) so it looks like we're in for more tonight.

Several boats went out to try it. We had 38 knots steady for 2 hours and gusts over 50 knots
My friend Ron brought two small palm tree's to dress up our dock
We sat beside them listening to Jimmy Buffett on XM radio drinking light rum and diet coke
while watching the idiots go out to try the wind
Judy brought chicken, potato salad and slaw out around 1. Had a hell of a day, wish ya'll could have been there to share it with us. Life is great
