officially just shy of 6 in. over a 15 hr period---2 hr show 1.58 and 1.27 each---it was a massive thing on the radar--after the second string formed up, it was from south of san antone to the ok/ks line right along i-35, and the earlier line had spread all over eastern ks/so cental mo/ northern ark

probably not gonna help the mississippi any--when the big mo starts it's flood things could get really nasty

It's been raining here for several days. I think we are right at 4 inches in 3 days, nice soaking in rain but the rivers are up. I just got my garden in before it all started.

I don't know how much we got yesterday but at 4:30pm I was driving north on I35 from LBJ and it was raining horizontal so hard I could not see the tail lights of the car in front of me Idleing along at less than 10mph. This lasted 45 min. and let up by the time I got to my turn off just north of George Bush. 1st time I ever saw Dallas people give a proper 5-6 cars length distance between us.

Half of these rivers and creeks are within 5 miles and at least 4 of them run right through town here.

Looks like the worst of it has moved through but we have chances of rain every day this week.

We had another hard rain yesterday evening. Lasted about 4 hours. I bet my lake is full now.
