I have changed out 5-6 outboard and 1 inboard/ outboard water pumps but getting this 5hp 4 stroke 2002 Nissan back together was a real pita. Dropping the lower unit was as easy as any of them and changing the pump sleeve, impeller and gaskets was normal. Then it was back together time. The drive shaft fits in rubber lined alignment eyes but getting the shift linkage and water pump tube in at the same time slowed things down. About the 5th try we got it. Guess our learning curve was a little slow yesterday.

I'm just doing my first pump on a jet-ski. It is a Sea-doo. I'm not sure how I will get some of the stuff back on, like the springs on the nozzle.
