Want to make a plate or mount to put on my floor jack so I can use it to hold transmissions.
Right now its just got the standard head and it doesnt hold a tranny real well.
I can take the head off of the jack and put something else in there so, I thought Id build me a tranny head.
What thickness or type of steel should I consider using for it?
Its first job when done will be to jack up a TH350 with a NP 208 transfer case into place.
Would 1/8th thick be enough or perhaps overkill?
