I had a guy email me offering 300 dollars for my Willys, I just emailed back saying not interested, it will scrap for more than that. This is what the guy fired back:

If you were really interested in making money you would have scrapped it a long time ago. Is that why its been on cl for a few months?
you and I both know its going to take a lot of money to even get that truck running... if you can't even entertain a reasonable offer for 50 year old a rust-bucket with a wrecked bed and seized engine, old as dirt tires and probably a rat infested interior, you will never get rid of it, did you even think about a counter offer? maybe you could...
I don't know what you are trying to accomplish, unless you are keeping your boss-lady happy by "trying" to sell the jeep.
If you want to be sensible about this you might be able to sell it, unless you are just playing games, then go play dirty with someone else.
Needless to say my reply was very creative, unfortunately he didn't have the nerve to continue on!
