lance would know better than me, but i think the pedro mtns are on the sw edge of the shirley basin which is where that pyramid thingy is. Its on the backroad between here and casper.

That pyramid mountain deal is right where the road north of Medicene bow splits or right in that area.... It's a long ways between the San Pedro's (mountains West of the Pyramid looking thing) and Shirley Basin which is between Bosler and Wheatland.

The Shirely basin thing must have been misinformation. I read about 6 different accounts of the little man and there were a few inconcictencys. Especially about what happened to him, but generally the basic story stayed the same.
