so, after having run the 2gc for quite a while--more than a year and having good luck and passable mileage--16 and thereabouts doe--it all crapped--tried a yfa, then a yf , then after checking out the 2gc i put it back on, this happened after changing distributor, coil and hei module---so put on new exh/intake gasket set---had another peek inside the 2gc and put it back on--it was any better, but it was different---pulled the 2gc and found a gasket(front top main body to horn) sucked inside)---had already got a carb kit for an earlier mdl of 2 gc--got it all apart and couldn't get the check ball out of the pump well---had to go back to town and get a kit for the newer carb--they all be soaking tonite--what a lesson in chasing vacuum leaks from bad to worse and back to bad again--more news tomorrow
