Remote master cylinder Empty Remote master cylinder

    Post by willowbilly3 Wed Apr 27, 2011 8:35 pm

This is how much I have done so far. Looks like I need a different setting on the camera.
I am mounting my master cylinder sideways behind the driver's seat area. You can see the rod hanging down that is the push rod from the brake pedal. Everything is just clamped in place right now. Tomorrow I need to find a 3/8 fine clevis end, probably end up making one. I don't know why I didn't order it from speedway when I got the master cylinder.

There is one, my pictures are so crappy you can't really see it. It's that little shiny spot right in the middle.

No Spart, I don't think that will be a problem, the top is still up. The second generation Econolines had theirs in sideways.

Fenton Hawk wheels. I'd like to fine a pair of 14s for the front but they are pretty big bucks for me.

JB--what is the bolt pattern on your fronts??? i have a pair of crager 5 spoke mags-14 inch--i'll get ya some pics if you are interested--i am in debt to ya, if you have peeps making the trip from tx--we could probally eliminate the shipping--except for giving the delivery man a gracious tip

just remembered also have some keystone 5 spoke--also 14's

    take your pick

    Ford bolt pattern, 4 1/2"
I've got lots of wheels but nothing that matches front and rear. I actually have 2 more of the Hawks but they are also 15. I wouldn't mind just running stock type steel wheels if I could find a set of 15's for the back with the right hubcap bumps.
The tires that are on it are the height I want. I could go a little wider on the back but I don't want the steam roller T bucket look. Fronts will probably be 185 or 195 14s. I'm looking for a set of 185 x 75 x 14, those would be just right. Probably about a 245/70 x 15 on the back.

Picked up a pair of 15" steelies at auction today for $5. They are probably only 6" and I wanted 7" but they will work.
