Guy here at work offered to sell me one of his shotguns he doesnt use or need.

Said he bought it about 5 years ago or so and paid like 100 bux for it.

Told me the safety to open the pump was sticky and he hadnt taken it to a gunsmith to get it fixed and it got set aside for the time being.

Anyways to make a long story short he is willing to sell me this pump action shotgun for 50 bux.

According to him he has never fired a shot through it and its still brand new.

The only thing that bothers me is that its a chinese no namer.

Here is the info on it.

    Brolin Arms
    Model YF-12
    Made by SMS Inc China

All that Ive been able to find out about it is that it was imported by Brolin Arms in california who went out of business in 99.
They are chinese knockoffs of the Ithica 37 shotgun.

Its a 12 gauge shotgun, not sure of the shell size it will take. ie 2", 2 1/2" etc

Would this be a good deal for 50 bux or should I just pass and keep looking for something else like a mossburg 500, or wait till march when the gun show gets to watertown and see what I can find there?

i'd spend 50 on it--search showed prices from 110.00 (old archived sale) to 275.00 asking current--should be a simple fix--prob some file work will do the trick

Worth a chance at 50. I imagine it would shoot 3" mags but even if it doesn't the 2 3/4 pack plenty of punch.
If your gun shows are like ours, I wouldn't wait around, any guns you find will be gun store prices.

The last one I went to here, the prices were outrageous! What a disappointment!
I can't see how you could lose on a $50 shotgun!
