    i am gonna give it a try---to make a cold air plenum for the six

    10 lbs of rod--50 bux


    store bought plenum 80 to 129 bux


    and i'll have some rod left to make some aluminum dash panels i want to make--i fro the nova and one for the bump---i have the sheet aluminum for said project

    I used some years ago. It stuck but wasn't pretty. I think on the thinner stuff you will want to practice some before you get into the real deal. DC only, right?

    I seem to recall that at one time they used to sell sticks of whatever it was to weld aluminum with a torch.

    Do they still make that any more?

    This wasnt braze rod either, it was aluminum colored.
