Cool find My guess would be forestry service or some such thing. I've seen crew cab Macks and Seagraves from the 30's but nothing much else until the 60's.

It was bult. You can see the line across the roof where it was put together. Still pretty cool. I have seen a picture of a 38 Ford COE 4 door that was military.
