Talk about a temp difference

Found this on weather.com

8 degrees in Minot and 68 in KC

big swing---we had a hard freeze last weekend--30 mi any direction was 25 degree warmer--go figure--it was 34 by 10 pm and 30 when i got up at 5:30 or so--didn't warm up over freezing till after 9 am

I think ND is above the arctic circle. I was colder in Williston than I ever was in Alaska.

No real big difference here...just getting cold..... and we have about 6" of snow on the ground.....

at least the snow is insulating the ground---yeah--i know--bfd, right--all the weather forecasts indicate it is really gonna get rough after the first of the year--may be one of those years where the words freeze and ya gotta wait till spring to hear what ya said

are you set up for the "pex" water line? i haven't bought the stuff yet, but found the whole kit on line for a good price---i'll have to find where i saved it and link ya--seems like it was an ebay store--it was the official stuff and not knock off

when i moved to tx from vail, i figured i had the cold whipped--the day john lennon got shot it was 44 with a south wind--i had to go home at lunch and get more clothes--i was freezing my ass off

It's the blue plastic line.... 1 1/4 coming to the house...I'll Tee into it, then off that line for the auto water fountains for the nags and one frost free at the end of the barn.
I was going to pour some concrete at the base of each post that's bolted to the barn, but with the cold, guess I'll just put a block at the base and get on with this...it's too damned cold to be trying to cure concrete!
