    Binder Empty Binder

OK, binder aficionados, yesterday I met an old man with a 65 IH half ton pickup. It had a torsion bar front end and he claims it was very rare on an IH pickup and had only seen a couple others on travelalls. It also had a 7 foot bed.

i never saw a pickup with it--my 71 t'all has it---other than that i can't speak for the rarity--as far as production numbers go

the only place i know for sure that had some spare bars was the scout connection in ft madison iowa

i am surprised by the year model you have seen it on--i have heard gm/gmc used torsion bar suspension on some pickups--there again--not something i can attest to from either seeing it or owning it--which is surprising, since if there's a bastard out there, it usually finds it's way to me Binder 301330

All gm pickups 60-63 and even some of the 2-2 1/2 ton trucks had torsion bars
